　　阳光明媚的一天，母亲们带着自己的孩子来公园玩，孩子们在沙坑中做着各种各样的游戏，分外投入。突然狂风大作，大人们连忙收拾衣物带着孩子离开。奔跑中，一位母亲不慎将孩子心爱的红头发玩偶掉落地上，回到家发现宝贝丢失的小孩子大哭不止。
　　夜晚降临，躺在草丛中的玩偶醒来，她呼唤自己的小主人，却引来同样被丢失在沙地的小狗。伤心的娃娃落下眼泪，开朗热心的小狗则和其他玩具们一起帮助她找寻回家的路。
　　本片出自捷克女动画家赫米娜•齐蒂洛娃之手，她也是捷克木偶剧的开山鼻祖。
